The cherry blossoms of the Imperial Palace Moat
This walkway, which stretches out for about 700 meters along Chidorigafuchi to the west of the Imperial Palace, is one of the most iconic cherry blossom viewing locations in Tokyo. It features about 260 trees, of which most are Yoshino cherry trees. In spring, people flock from all over Japan to see them in bloom. Everyone has their own favorite way to enjoy the cherry blossoms, whether strolling down the walkway, paddling a boat alongside, or viewing them lit up at night.
