Rusutsu resort receives 13 meters of snow a year and with its location being ideal for super dry powder, it is a winter paradise for powder lovers. The resort has three mountains with 37 different trails, known for being spacious and tranquil, surrounded by beautiful woodlands allowing for a great winter escape. There are a range of winter activities, from snow mobiles and cross country skiing to horseback riding, as well as some fun indoor sports. The resort also hosts a delicious range of food including tempura and sashimi, all made with the freshest of ingredients, and offers seasonal specialties from Hokkaido which are sure to satisfy after a day on the slopes.
By public transportation
From New Chitose Airport, take the Rusutsu Big Runs Bus to the resort, be sure to book 7 days in advance. From Sapporo City, near JR Sapporo Station, take the free shuttle Rusutsu-Go bus to the resort.
