Rabbit Island
2020.6.1
70% of Okushiri Island forests are made up of beech woods, which are the focus of this forest walk led by a local guide. Walk on the soft, green, carpet-like forest floor and soak in the natural beauty of the island. You can also enjoy an array of seasonal flowers. Mount Tamashima (also known as Kyuujima) is the third-tallest mountain on the island. From its summit, you can take in 360-degree panoramic views of mainland Hokkaido. In summer, colorful hydrangeas enhance the superb scenery.
